Research
How can an existing product be refreshed or a new product perfected? We begin to answer these questions by listening to your goals and concerns. From there, we launch into research that helps uncover your product’s potential. We assemble focus groups, conduct interviews, study behaviors, investigate ergonomics, and examine trends in the market — ultimately providing us the foundation for optimizing your product design.
Develop
After we work with you to define your goals and build a substantial body of research, we generate the concepts that will drive your product design. This collaborative process involves brainstorming sessions, quick sketching, and rough prototyping — exercises that allow us to generate a range of solutions in an efficient and informative way. The end result: several complete concepts for you to consider.
Refine
Once you select a design direction, a thorough process of refinement and evaluation begins. Our designers and engineers join forces to create detailed computer models that turn the concept into a reality. Every member of our team uses the same model data to ensure that mechanism design, component selection, and all aspects of engineering come together seamlessly. During this phase we also generate photo-realistic images, appearance models, and working prototypes.
Implement
When the product design has been sufficiently refined, we create the engineering drawings and solid model data that will guide mold making and other processes related to production. Often, we remain on hand to provide additional support throughout the manufacturing process. In other words, our designers and engineers are eager to work directly with manufacturers to see your product through to completion.
